Chace had 2 doctor appointments this week and they went really well. Tuesday we met for a general check-up and everything is going well. Wednesday we met with a neuro-surgeon and got some great news. Chace doesn't have to wear his brace anymore! We know that it was a necessary part of his recovery, but the last few weeks it seems like it's just been in the way. He's always wiggling around inside of it and showering and sleeping are 100 times easier without it. So think goodness the x-rays showed his neck bones healed well. Now he needs to really work on his balance in rehab, he's been well supported by the brace up until now, but it will take his effort now to balance himself in his wheelchair.
Tuesday night we met up with some family for dinner and had a great time.

Sounds like great news I am glad that the bones healed well. Now He can be more comfortable as he does his rehab. Good luck with everything. You guys skipped out fast from church I didn't get back there in time to say hi!
