He also asked for a wheelchair this morning, which the nurse said was a very good sign that he feels well enough. They may try to get him in one later today so that he can get out of bed.

Chace had his breathing tube removed around 9:30 this morning. He says it's still a little hard to breathe, but the nurses said his airways sound good, his lungs are strong and he's getting enough oxygen. It will just take a little time for him to gain strength and feel comfortable with breathing on his own, it's been almost a full week that the machine has been doing it for him.

Hey Chase. Good to hear your tring hard to heal. Keeping up a good spirit is the way to a fast recovery. Just remember things will get hard and when they do just look over your shoulder or clear your mind and you will see all of us pulling for you.
